IAADP's President

March 7, 1930 - October 25, 2009

Ed Eames--I never saw him without that contagious smile! He loved people, and it showed as he mentored others who loved and care about animals. CWA conferences won't be the same without him. I believe Toni and Ed were the first to bring "token dogs" to the event, and their guide dogs became honorary CWA members. Ed touched countless lives and his legacy will live on.

Ed was my friend and mentor. At the time of his passing, he wasn't done with me. I wish him much peace until we meet again. Our love to Toni.

Toni, please accept my heartfelt condolences to you at this difficult time. I am so glad we got to meet at one of the conventions here several years ago and that we corresponded over the years. Please know my prayers are going out for you.

Toni, I am so sad for your loss and for that of the dog world. Ed had more than one partner in life - together you were a bright spot in our world.

Not only was Ed an incredible advocate for a wide range of issues related to the service dog community, but he also had the ability to light up a room with his warmth and engaging personality. His singlemnidedness of purpose, coupled with his charm and wit, made him an extremely effective advocate. We will miss him so very much!

With love to Toni
