RE: Rabies Testing for IAADP Assistance Dogs – Discount Program
It was again a pleasure speaking with you. We continue to applaud your efforts on behalf of your organization, and we are pleased to participate by discounting rabies testing done at the Rabies Laboratory, K-State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL). As we discussed on the phone, we will now move from a “Pilot Project” to a “Program” for IAADP.
The KSVDL and our Rabies Laboratory are committed to the following points of understanding and practice for the IAADP Program:
-- 50% reduction in testing costs for all IAADP member samples [UPDATE: As of November 1st 2012, reduced to 10%]
-- Continue to move samples to the “front of the line” for known assistance-dog status
-- Discount period will begin immediately and be evaluated annually
-- Discount will apply only to confirmed IAADP members
-- Discount will apply only to samples properly identified at submission, which must include a copy of the IAADP member card with the submission paperwork We are enthusiastic about contributing in this way, and look forward to working with you and your fellow IAADP members. Please let us know how we can work together in communicating this Program to clients and stakeholders.
